Amorbach, November 2018. The long-standing Amorbach-based OWA – Odenwald Faserplattenwerk GmbH will be presenting its new products on Stand 538 in Hall A2 at the BAU 2019 trade fair from 14 to 19 January 2019. In keeping with the ‘mix & match’ principle, the exhibition will focus on the brand new RAW, OWAplan and Octave product lines on more than 200m² of exhibition space. State-of-the-art visual interior design with innovative and functional ceiling systems featuring high-quality surfaces, bespoke room acoustics optimised for various sectors and applications, and easier installation are the central themes of the latest presentation. In the premium segment, the OWAconsult collection has been expanded to include the new RAW product line, consisting of the ‘structure’, ‘grey’ and ‘clay’ surface finishes. One of the distinguishing features they share is an original appearance combined with high acoustic performance. Special finishing touches maintain the natural appearance of the mineral fibers and allow rooms to be given a completely new and unique industrial design.
The seamless OWAplan ceiling system, which also belongs to the OWAconsult collection, has been completely upgraded too. Fleece lamination at the factory makes the work onsite much easier. When combined with the OWAplan XS acoustic plaster coating, the airless process makes it possible to achieve an especially fine surface finish.
Further, four new Octave products have been added to the range of fleece-covered mineral ceilings. Just about any acoustic requirement can be fulfilled, ranging from outstanding sound absorption across a smart combination of high absorption and sound reduction.
The manifold prizes recently awarded to OWA are testament to the innovative power of the brand. For example, the product lines from the well-known OWAconsult collection have recently won at the ICONIC AWARDS 2018, the Red Dot: Best of the Best (2018), iF DESIGN AWARDS 2018, the German Design Award 2018, and the MIAW. The wave of success reflected in the world-famous design prizes has encouraged OWA to continue developing its OWAconsult collection. As well as RAW and OWAplan, the modular Corpus system has also been expanded to include new lighting elements. These and other innovations will be presented to a specialist audience for the first time at the BAU trade fair on Stand 538 in Hall A2.
