7. Web analysis service Hotjar

The website by Odenwald Faserplattenwerk GmbH uses Hotjar, a web analysis tool from Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta ("Hotjar").

Using Hotjar, interactions of randomly selected individual users with the internet page are recorded on an anonymous basis. This creates a log of, for example, mouse movements and clicks with the aim of showing possible areas for improvement on the respective internet pages. Additionally, information about the operating system, the browser, incoming and outgoing links, geographic origin and resolution and type of device are evaluated for statistical purposes.
