OWAcoustic^® clean: where no dust particles are tolerated

OWAcoustic^® clean - these are mineral wool ceiling tiles that are laminated with high-quality aluminium foils. They have especially smooth and easy to clean surfaces which do not harbour air-carried particles. Universal 65/1 also fulfils these prerequisites and additionally offers good sound absorption through a light surface perforation.

Testing passed: Clean room usable

To prove the clean area efficiency, the Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart carried out prolonged tests. The testing was carried out successfully to the clean room classification class 4 (to ISO 14644-1), Class 10 corresponds to the US-Federal standard in 209E. D, which allows a maximum of 10 particles of the reference size >= 0.5 µm in an air volume of 1 cubic foot.

For all OWAcoustic^®-Ceilings, the qualification was proved to "Class 10." This result was also attained by an OWAtecta^®-Metal ceiling (system 31) un-perforated surface (L 0).
