OWA at BAU 2011 with a versatile programme

Architecture of the future poses a challenge for manufacturers. New European standards, new certificates by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and LEED’s international triumph – "sustainable construction" is becoming a megatrend. At BAU 2011, OWA will present services and sustainable solutions, thus emphasising its leadership position in ceiling systems and room acoustics.

"Those who want to remain successful in the markets of the future cannot simply be satisfied with product innovations alone", says Mathias Schaper, Managing Director at OWA. "Of course, high-performance materials are important; but solutions are set to be even more successful – holistic solutions and lifecycle solutions with all their consequences for health, environmental friendliness and products recyclability“, he adds. “We have recognised the immense need for advisory services this has created for our customers, and we are starting to serve this need with our own unique approach.”

In other words: At the beginning of 2010, the Amorbach-based company restructured its technical information department, hired additional staff and set up OWAconsult^®, an internal consulting department that functions as a profit centre. OWAconsult^® is going to pass on the concentrated expertise of OWA to architects, planners and processors around the globe – either through the OWA branch network or through direct telephone contact with the specialists.

The development of OWAconsult^® was accompanied by a wealth of product innovations, summarised by the punchy campaign title INNOWATIONS2010. OWA will present the results of its innovation campaign at BAU 2011. Visit us in hall A2, stand no. 538!
