Our continuous involvement in the field of environmental protection has been rewarded by yet another award. Odenwald Faserplattenwerk GmbH has received the “Blue Angel” for low-emission building materials as the first company in the area of acoustic ceilings made of mineral wool. This environmental label confirms that our mineral wool ceiling tiles are made of harmless raw materials, and that they are suitable for use in highly sensitive areas such as schools, kindergartens, and hospitals. We also see this award as a success for the company’s philosophy as practiced, and for decades of efforts in using raw materials that take environmental and health aspects into consideration.
